Situated in the Lerins Island archipelago, the Ile Saint-Marguerite close to Cannes is home to this hidden Mediterranean sanctuary. The only private property on the island consists of several buildings with a total 1,100 m2 living space on 14,000 m2 land with stunning gardens designed by landscape designer Hervé Meyer. Our mission was to rehabilitate and renovate the exterior and interior of several existing buildings and the surrounding gardens. The approach used the combination of tradition and modernity – always considering the local landscape and style. The unique botanical gardens were brought back to life by restoring ancient citrus, olive, and palm trees and the greened pergola roofs blend perfectly into the existing landscape.
